the adventures of joylyn and i

joylyn and i started our adventures yesterday after work at 5 pm. first, we went to meet up kelly at 24 hr fitness so kelly and i could try to get a good deal on a group rate membership. to say the least, we didn't get any membership because we didn't get any deals that we didn't already see on their website. after that, kelly parted, and joylyn and i went off to find some dinner. we decided on sushi and headed out there but i thought of curry and wanted to go to maali thai. i love their curry so so so much. and of course, last night's curry was so so so good. after that was a trip to marshalls. we both walked out with atleast something so that was cool. when we got back home, we took a shot with d and then i decided we should go to the hoppy brewing company on folsom nearby our house. they each got a beer sampler and i got calamari and drank one of the sampler that they both claimed taste like juice. of course it didn't taste like juice. it tasted like wine, which does not taste like juice.


then we just came back home and talked about STUFF while snoopy bugged joylyn to play with him. the adventure ended when joylyn left home.

valentines day

valentines day was spent in santa rosa. i'm really angry at myself for not taking more photos. boo. overall though, it was fun. they even decorated the house for the event and we had lots of food. i think we could have stayed up a little longer though, right maui? lol.

today, i have a lot of work to do at home even though it should be my day off. just great.

alijah's 1st birthday party

it was alijah's 1st birthday celebration. it wasn't all that fun for him. he was crying everytime people surrounded him.


i love the hound dog. it's perfect because bugsy's one. he had the cutest monkey cake. it was so good also. i want some more right now. alijah enjoyed it also.

thinking of scrapping

i was looking through my scrapbook pages to try to motivate me to make a page. it did just that but my house is just a mess with clutter in every room that it made me loose interest. cause of course i need all the space i can get when i scrap. that's just me. this one page in particular brought up a lot of feelings. the picture made me laugh thinking of that moment when d threw himself into the water. when he came back out from the water he yelled out "damn that was scary." oh gawsh that guy. i just want to go to the beach now. but overall. i just love that quote.

super bowl sunday

our super bowl sunday consisted of waking up with a hangover. driving back to sacramento. nap. shower. and then headed out to sam's and al's to watch the super bowl. the guys had some of this...

i can't believe he's almost one. his 1st bday party is this saturday. we need to go get him a gift. he's going to get something super cool of course. i saw this the other day and i wanted to make it for his bday party. but i know nothing about fondant. it's just so cute though! ahhhhh...

D's surprise bday party

yesterday was d's bday. we didn't plan on doing anything but nary decided on the idea of throwing d a surprise bday party. it was a last minute thing but we ended up doing just that. and he was definitely surprised. and i'm glad he had a lot of fun. all i did yesterday was lie to him. he didn't see it coming. the night consisted of hot dogs. burgers. fried rice. bbq short ribs. chips. tripe. pizza. cake. henny. jameson. car bombs. smoking cigars. the hulk. playing spoon. 6 cards. club nary. and for me, barf. then a sleepover. what a night.
